The Hostile Hospital
The three Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny have just ran away from the village of V.F.D and needed somewhere to hide before the authorities come after them. The children stopped at the "Last Chance General Store" which the children thought would be the last place for a long time. As they approached the store they saw i flier that said telegrams can be sent here. A telegram has no periods so they use STOP at the end of each sentence. They walked in and saw a man in the front of the store. the store was huge and every inch of it was covered in items and it was hard to get around. They went to the counter and asked the man if they could send a telegram. He asked for money and they said that they were in an emergency and needed to send a telegram, the man felt sorry so let them use it for free. As the children sat down they waited and wondered who they could possible send the telegram to. Everyone that they could have trusted had either been murdered or had seen the daily punctilio that they had murder count Omar who was really count Olaf who was really Jacques Snicket. They had not murdered anyone though. They decided to send the telegram to Mr. Poe who was in charge of their fortune their parent had left them when they past away. As they sent each and every STOP and letter they worried that Mr. Poe would not believe them. When they finish they couldn't help but to stay up all night and wait for Mr. Poe's reply. They ended up spending the whole night waiting and as the morning rose the owner walked back in and was surprised they were still there. After another 45 minutes a man walked in and said that he had the daily punctilio. The man said that there are murderers lose and to be careful. The children herd and started to leave and then the man said there are the murderers and he was pointing at them. The children ran down an aisle and the men chased and they lost them but they were all running through the store and when the children got out the men didn't see, the children knew they had to get away but he land was flat and they could be seen for miles. Getting gas was a van. The children snuck into the van and everyone thought that they belonged. They were in the V.F.D van. As they drove away they talked with the people and they said V.F.D stood for volunteers fighting disease. They all called each other brother and sister which they were not all brothers and sisters. They were on their way to Heimlich Hospital and the whole time they were singing the V.F.D song that went:And we're cheerful all day long.
If someone said that we were sad,
That person would be wrong.
We visit people who are sick,
And try to make them smile,
Even if their noses bleed,
Or if they cough up bile.

When the children got to Heimlich Hospital they herd and intercom voice that said this is Babs head of human resources. She sounded like the intercom had tin foil over it. The hospital needed two volunteers to work in the library of records. They went up to Babs's office but were afraid that she might recognize them from the newspaper. They walked in she wasn't there but a intercom was in there and they were sent to the library of records. When they got there was a little man with little glasses on they worked by sorting files. After a day they had no where to go so they went to sleep in the unfinished half of the hospital because only one half of the hospital was finished and the other half had been stopped being worked on. After a day they decided that they needed to no more about the secret of V.F.D and other things so as they were working they took a paper clip from the papers and violets ribbon and Sunny bit the keys to shape like a key. At the end of the day they handed Hal the made keys and his eye sight was horrible and couldn't tell that they were different. After an hour they snuck back into the library and looked to see if they had a Baudelaire file they didn't and they herd someone trying to open the door. They quickly look at F for fire and it wasn't there. The door rattled more and more violently. Then they suddenly remembered Snicket so they raced to the S aisle and found snicket and they opened the file that only had one paper in it. The top of the file had a letter on it that said that the file has been removed for investigation. the page in there was page 13. It had information that said that one person may have survived the fire and the person and their whereabouts are unknown. They were so interested in the file that they didn't realize that the door had opened. There right in front of the stood Esme Squalor. Olaf's evil girlfriend started to chase the children through the aisle but she couldn't get them because she was wearing stiletto heels and it took her a long time because she wasn't wearing regular stiletto heel she was wearing a shoe with a real stiletto as heels which are knifes. As she staggered after them she gave up and started to kick down the aisle to try to smash the orphans. They ran and ran but they were at a dead end and they were about to get smashed to Sunny and Klaus climbed up the shoot that files are dropped in but Violet couldn't fit so she faced the villain alone as her sibling climbed up the shoot. They waited in the unfinished part of the hospital and waited for violet. She didn't come for hours and they waited the next morning they herd the voice of count Olaf's discised voice over the intercom that said a girl was having her head cut off for surgery, it was violet. they stoal the V.F.D clip board with the name of everyone in the hospital's name on it and they didn't see Violet and they snuck into a closet and Klaus figured out it was an anagram which is a name that uses the letters to make a different name. They found it and put on doctor outfits and snuck to the surgery and Olaf's workers were there and thought that Klaus and Sunny were other workers. They were supposed to cut her head off and kill her. Klaus stalled until she woke up and they ran away and they found out that the hospital was on fire and every one was waiting for them at the entrance of the hospital. They snuck into the 3rd story closet and Violet saw a bunch of rubber bands and tied them together and then she put tin foil on a intercom and told everyone to go to the unfinished part of the hospital. They all left and Violet, Klaus, and Sunny jumped from the window and landed in bushed. There was a lot of smoke in the air and they couldn't breathe so they had to do one thing and that was jump into count Olaf's trunk and shut it. Olaf's trunk had a bullet whole in it so they could breathe and they were with Olaf driving away.
